The main aim of the University is to
produce knowledgeable, skillful and
highly qualified professionals and intellectuals
who can become the role models of the
future generations in the country. The
camping program is a mechanism that
was intended to build up students’ capabilities
and competences enabling them to perform
better communal responsibilities. Therefore
Kismayo University frequently carries
out training seminars and collective
discussions among the educated, peace
activists, community leaders and civil
society led organizations, to enhance
their societal role in terms of peace
development, dialogue and social integration.
 
The participants of this camping
were 100 students came from the various
departments of Kismayo University.
The camping activities continued for
seven days.
