On Thursday 24/05/07, Kismayo University organized a ceremony for the graduating students in secondary schools in Kismayo City in the academic year 2006/2007 under the slogan “the Future generation”.

The main aim of the program was to introduce different academic programs offered in Kismayo University to the potential students. Participants were about 150 students selected from all secondary schools in Kismayo City.

In this well arranged ceremony, University Administrators, faculty deans, and some Secondary School principals in Kismayo City were Attended.

After a short presentation, the  Academic Director of Kismayo University Mr. Hussein Abdi Adam presented a 40 minute film about the University and then questions and comments of the students and other quests ware addressed.

In his speech, Hamza Abdi Berri, encouraged the fresh secondary school graduates to continue their studies, and join the Universities in the Country, pointing that how Kismayo University is ready to absorb students who have graduated from high schools in Kismayo City.

During the part, the Principals of secondary schools in Kismayo City briefly expressed their feeling at the ceremony and thanked the University administration, including the excellent educational opportunities for the potential students and their effort to provide high education to the society.
